COMPUTER GUILD OF NIGERIA HOLDS ICT
AWARENESS WORKSHOP FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS THIS THURSDAY
The Computer
Guild of Nigeria will on this Thursday organize a free ICT Awareness Workshop
for some selected Public and Private secondary schools in Ibadan on the 27th
of February, 2014. In a report made available by the acting president of the
Guild, Mr. Wole Adedoyin he said that the workshop is organized to enhance,
educate and inform the participants on some important ICT issues for their
educational development. Expected to deliver lectures are Mr. Yomi Fayemi of
the National Library of Nigeria will be speaking on the Fundamentals and Importance of Digital Libraries in
Schools while Mrs. Ayanyemi also will be talking on the Social Media/Networking
Tools – Merits, Demerit, Historical background etc. In the same Ladipo Adekitan
Oluwaseun will be speaking on the “Fundamentals and Important of Various Search
Engines, difference, merits, demerits etc.
